Our Kia Picanto has been practically faultless during the seven year warranty period which has just ended. Which is perhaps just as well because when we did need a very minor repair right at the end of the warranty it didn't go very smoothly. We took the car to Windermere for the repair and it turned out that they had ordered the wrong part so we wasted a whole day.

Certain parts of Rayrigg Motors are good, sales and the workshop, but the service reception, a vital link in the chain is a mediocre entity. On various occasions I have had to ring two to three times to book a car in for a Service, yesterday I phoned at 1545hrs to book an MOT, I was informed the service receptionist was in a meeting, my details were taken, I was assured they would get back to me. It is 0940hrs next day and still waiting, what's gone wrong?, the previous service manager was efficient and made you welcome. Rayrigg need to sort out the service reception, before customers vote with their feet. Paul Beavan
