Went some 20 odd years ago, it was a room resembling a working man's club in decor, set out like for a function with a load of tables and chairs, a dancefloor big enough for 20; not a bad Monday night out when you worked all weekend in the hospitality trade. It's vastly updated now, and really would compete with most clubs in busy towns, still smaller than most. Music was a blend of old school and stuff I really didn't know ( doesn't say much), kept me dancing though. Drinks prices were reasonable... I'll go again in 20 years...
Unfortunately my girlfriend and I were not excepted into the "nightclub" because she didn't know her star sign and apparently 'all women know their star sign' ?? Bit sexist even though it's her ID and over 18 just but upset that they the door staff were very rude didn't turn us away politely and told us to do one (swearing was even involved) I would not recommend anyone to come here the door staff should be working in a city with attitude like this. Only on a night out for fun guess we will have to spend our money elsewhere. Unluckily the wheelhouse have lost even more customers due to door staff.
Best club in town.... Although nothing special we had a lot of fun in there.
