Unhelpful! I arrived at exactly 4.45pm unaware the deadline for sending post was 4.45pm, although they close at 5.30pm I thought I had plenty of time. I was obviously very disappointed I'd just missed out and said what a shame (although I could see the post bags being sealed up behind the counter) however the blonde lady was unwilling. She advised that my parcels would go the next day as I should be there by 4.30pm, and when I pointed out the sign indicating 4.45pm she said the bags were sealed and unable to untie. Not very customer focussed, I just felt she was doing a job and didn't care. The friendliness of the residents and staff in the shops and attractions in Bowness is usually so good so I was very surprised at the coldness of this person!
