Scrumptious!!! Our ice cream sundaes were off the chart gorgeous and the hot chocolate is as indulgent as it gets (probably best avoided if on a diet!). The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you; they even poured my daughter a little hot milk in a cup with some mini marshmallows so that she could pretend to be like her mum!
Incredible cafe to visit. Staff cannot do enough for you very considerate and warming. Service great. Hot chocolate experience is diving. Tasty paninis for a savoury fix too!
Best Belgian waffles I have ever eaten.. light and crispy. Chocolate heaven with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. loved it, ! Well worth a visit if you love chocolate or want a decent sandwich.
Excellent,5* plus. Gentleman who served us 1/1/2019 at approx 3pm gave good advice to daughter and provided a sample. It was busy but they cleaned a table and moved chairs so we could be accommodated. Had Belgium waffles and panini's and drinks. All to a very high standard. Me, the wife and daughters aged 8 and 12 recommend.
What a perfect little encounter! Not far from the bay and perfect for anyone visiting the area. The staff are incredibly friendly, they provide a very warm and welcoming feeling to out of town guests, they clearly know how to deal with customers. We were surprised to be offered a free sample of hot chocolate before making our decision on what ingredients to add to this, we decided to go with the original hot chocolate, with waffles with fresh strawberries and hazelnut ice cream, unbelievable! Highly recommend anyone visiting Bowness stop off here! You will not be disappointed.
