Good location. Small compact site. As with all Caravan and Camping Club sites the facilities are always closed for too long.
Very friendly Staff. Lovely site. Very clean facilities. Within easy walking distance of Bowness, the Marinas and the ferries. Very popular, book early!
We had a great time their easy access for getting on and off site. Great facilities. Sat at lakeside watching sun go down beautiful setting.
When we were looking for a campsite in the lake district, I came across Braithwaite Fold but was put off my the requirement to stay 3 nights and the price relative to other sites. However, having visited I would not hesitate to return! This site is in one of the best positions in the UK! Just a few hundred meters from the banks of Windermere and only a half mile walk into Bowness which has so much to offer. There is also a pub within a few hundred meters of the site which can be accessed without needing to walk down a road. Great for sights, great for dining options and fantastic for scenery!
A good site right next to the lakes and ferry crossing. Site pitches in some cases are compact but they still do the job. Small toilet block some say a little dated but it does it's job.Easy walking distance to town and plenty of places to eat nearby.
