I feel like this is what celebrities experience when they get haircuts! Shane gave an incredibly thorough, constructive and compassionate consultation. I had an excellent cut that has changed the nature of my hair; for the first time I can actually wear my hair naturally without always styling it because it feels thick and healthy and the cut suits me. It looks fantastic when I do style it, too. It is also a cut that lasts. Celtic Magpie are completely and proudly ethical as well as excellent. I have learnt so much about my hair that I can now stop making a list of mistakes! Shane is the most knowledgeable hairdresser Ive ever met- he even gave make-up and natural health advice over a delicious home made herbal tea! :-) A holistic experience! Also, great organic products on offer. Lastly, I have to note that Shane didnt even use hair straighteners- which is one of the true signs of a talented hairdresser! :-) Faultless - couldnt recommend it more.
Beautiful salon and really great service - I have just been for a consultation cut and blow dry and I feel like Ive learnt more about my hair in an hour and a half than ever before! Attention to detail, honesty, ethical products, great advice - a real professional! I have come away with a plan to restore my hair to its best with the help of some inexpensive organic products! If you buy shampoo or conditioner you can bring the bottles back for refills which is the only place I know of in the lakes that does this! All in all a fab experience and LOVE my new hair! Thank you and will see you again soon!
