Nipped in on a Sunday night for some wine and dessert, had a beautiful sauvignon blanc and creme brulee!
Wonderful flavoursome French food. Seafood so fresh and tasty. The scallops were melt in the mouth and turbot was delicious. My special pudding pear alla Helena was a pear cooked with vanilla, ice cream in a biscuit case and an almond chocolate mousse was devine The atmosphere was bubbly and warm and the staff so friendly. A real find and I can strongly recommend eating here
4 of us visited Francine's on a sat. Night. Quite a busy restaurant, booking is advisable. If your a fish lover, this is for you, the menu, including a specials board, is extensive. My companions said their fish casserole was sublime, my rib-eye steak was cooked to perfection (medium). This is a small restaurant so it did get a bit hustle and bustle at times. The bill was acceptable for such a delicious and well presented meal. Give it a try.
We were told to book Francine's but we didn't get round to it for my 40th birthday (a Saturday). We tried on the off-chance and we realised soon after sitting down how lucky we were to get the last available table. The food was amazing and the staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a special evening. One of the best meals I've had in a long time.
Had another fantastic meal here on Wednesday evening.all five of our party enjoyed the food, excellent presentation, attention to detail, great staff on Halloween night. We will be back. Love this place
