Lovely place.... great staff..
Excellent hotel, within short walk of the centre of windermere. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and a delicious evening meal is available. Pleasant comfortable rooms. Good parking both front and rear.
No lift.was not offered help with cases. Bedroom modern and clean. Some little touches like tissues were not available and tea/coffee were on bedside table. Toilet brush was dirty (had not been checked)but good shower and towels. A lot of creaks and noise at night but soon settled down. Breakfast good. Fruit was available apple,orange and banana but only prunes and grapefruit in bowls(grapefruit is not good for heart problems so no good for us). We ate two of the nights and the food was good but the menu choice was set so we went out the other night. The Guest toilet needs attention as it does not give the overall impression of what quality the rooms are . People who visit for a meal and use this facility would not appreciate the quality of the rooms in the hotel.

Perfect and friendly hosts. Very good food. Nice rooms for the price. Good location for both village centred. Bus stop by the hotel so you can leave the car during your stay. Good wifi.
