Fabulous hotel. Amazing helpful staff. Spa a lovely bonus. Breakfast spot on. No complaints just lots of compliments!!!
Ive only given it 3 stars as Id booked this for my partner for his birthday, we were their last year and only just got to use the spa so this year I thought wed def get to use it this year how wrong could I be. We went to use it and was told that we would have to wait til 2 people came out before we could go in however the young lad started to smile sarcastically and said actually weve got a party of 100 coming In you may want to try after 7 to say I wasnt amused was an understatement. When we checked out at reception we gave feedback and was told you can use it today if you want, she didnt seem interested whats so ever!!!! On a plus note Beautiful room, gorgeous evening meal, and the breakfast was lovely. Not sure Ill book next year for my partners birthday feeling a little disappointed.
I tried to make a booking for a large party at the back end of last year and was completely messed around by the staff and unable to go through with the booking. I was quite clearly quoted a price in email for a two bedroom apartment (twin room and king size bed) and when I went to book , I was told that it was an extra 80 and the original quote was based on two people despite at no point occupancy ever being mentioned, just the price for the apartment. Additionally, it would make no sense to base it on two people when the apartment is clearly designed for at least three people hence twin and king size beds. I raised my concerns with the general manager who completely brushed them off and refused to honour the quote that had been provided to me in writing by the reception staff.Of course, mistakes happen but it shouldn't be the customer that has to suffer for it and penalised financially. It looked like a lovely place to stay and it was a shame that the service of the staff meant we had to book elsewhere.
This hotel and facilities were absolutely immaculate. Myself and my husband came here for my 40th birthday and had an amazing time. Very clean and friendly and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was perfect. We would suggest this hotel the place to go for a relaxing and excellent experienced break... We will be going back.
Early November break for Wife's Birthday.Obviously weather can be an issue in The Lakes but for November not too bad.Lovely Hotel and Spa great.All staff good but Sean the Concierge who we engaged with the most was as most Northerners are was very easy going and friendly. Would definitely return.
