Okay busy cafe from what I could see from the outside as I waited to go on a boat trip on Lake Windermere. Outside was very busy and overcrowded at the height of the tourist season. I wondered if the Lake District had become a theme park. What was very disappointing was to see so many coffee chains and supermarkets. So I would always choose an independent place for beverages.

Nice little cafe with unrivalled views of Windermere and the boats as they arrive and depart. Good food and drink option and not too expensive. Friendly staff and handy toilets (ask for the key). Worth a visit for the views and great ice cream!
