Great atmosphere, great food and lovely Spanish ladies serving Tapas. We always eat and drink here when we are staying in Bowness.
Tasty tapas but super slow service. One friendly poor waitress seems to be responsible for doing all the work while the other just floats around ignoring everyone!Arrived at 8, ordered by ten past food delivered 9:10. Food was delicious but gave up waiting for the bill and decided to wait at the till.Please hire more staff! Or at least get rid of the one not doing anything.Top tip, order before you get there and ask for the bill when your food arrives...
Went in not expecting it to be so busy on a Sunday evening. We enquired about a table for two and were given a electronic buzzer and sat and had a drink in the bar downstairs. Once we buzzed, we were served promptly and the food didn't disappoint. We ordered 6 dishes between two including monkfish and prawns. All dishes were freshly prepared and delicious!
The Bodega bar is a fun tapas bar. With 46 items on the menu there is something for everyone. I have driven up from Blackpool, around trip of 140 miles, just to eat here.
Food was good (the garlic prawns were amazing) and if you don't over order the pricing reasonable. Food comes fast and the staff are friendly. Top notch stuff.
