We dropped in for our dinner this evening. It has been so so long since I have eaten food of that standard on an evening out, it was spot on. Lovely place to call into if you are passing I was very impressed and upon leaving very full. There was nothing over the top about it just really nice food and a decent drink at a good price.

only nipped in for a pint, Hobgoblin not my favourite ale but it was drinkable. Barman was friendly. Don't know what the hotel is like but the pub looked a bit sad and worn out.
