Beautiful little guest house, gorgeous scenery plenty to do great location , lovely breakfast, lovely room, only down side was the bed, worst mattress ive ever slept on , springs sticking in every orifice woke up thinking id been punched in the kidneys, that was literally the only thing wrong
What a find! We booked a family room for two nights here but ended up wishing we could stay longer. The accommodation is immaculately presented with a quirky yet homely style which makes guests feel immediately at home. Our family room was a good size, with a door separating the twin and double rooms. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of staple breakfast fare and cooked options which are pre-ordered. The shops, cafes and restaurants of Windermere are less than a minute's walk away and the bus stop is right on the doorstep giving easy access to both Bowness and Ambleside for those who want to leave the car behind. Parking is available for guests. Bonnie and Ian and their staff maintain a low key presence but are incredibly friendly and helpful if needed. Highly recommended. For those not familiar with The Lakes, note this guest house is in Windermere not Bowness, so it's a mile or so up from the lake. Easily walkable, 5 minutes by car or bus.

Great little place to stay, wonderful location and great friendly hosts! they also posted my electric Toothbrush back to me promptly as I left it in the room. Highly recommended!
