Just spent the weekend there and it was lovely. I took my wife out for a short break to visit Windermere, only found this place by luck. Chose based in pictures and price. One of the best decisions I had recently. The staff was very friendly, the room was cosy and the breakfast was splendid. The whole place is in impeccable condition and the decorations are worth seeing. Also they've got some board games, what we loved to try. Didn't have a chance to visit the gym/Spa as it's separate but will definitely try it next time. I'm confident that I'll be coming here the next time I'm visiting. And I'm sure to visit again.
Lovely friendly helpful staff. Went to trouble to give local info. Varied extensive veggie /other breakfast. Full range of cereals and fresh fruit and juices. Immaculately clean. Thoughtful extras e.g. wine glasses and corkscrew in the room. Can ask for free ice. Honesty bar in the Lounge. Free safe. Excellent stay!
Great place to stay loved every minute of it. Staff makes you feel welcome. Comfy rooms very clean. Breakfast excellent. Will definitely stay there again.
Another great few days spent at this hotel. Stayed here on quite a few occasions now. Great location, hosts and staff. Rich and his team are so welcoming and nothings too much trouble. Stayed in most of the rooms and they are all decorated to a high standard and all extremely comfy and cosy. Will definitely book here again. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Keep up the good work!!!
Had a fabulous 2 nights at St John's Lodge, Rich the owner was great and extremely helpful throughout our stay. He gave us excellent recommendations for the local area which we really appreciated. The whole staff team were great, very friendly! Breakfast was superb and room was spacious and clean. Thank you for a lovely trip! Would definitely recommend this place to others.
