No mention of really busy road in add when booking, no sleep because of it, can't move us or refund so stuck here.. bathroom too small to stand up in as in the eves can't stand at sink, hard to get to the loo. Toilet filled room with smell of sewage first flush. Shower is a dribble. Decor is uni digs standard at best. No breakfast, no host, reception room full of washing bags,pick up key from drop box at front door. Looks as if room 2 is the only decent one out of 4 rooms in total..
A fair price and perfectly placed, stayed in room 2 the bathroom needs a little bit of TCL and we could of done with the heating on but this could've been sorted if we called the number left if we needed anything, i knocked off two stars solely because the mattress needs replacing its well passed its sell by date.
This is a pleasant B&B in picturesque Windermere - the rooms are a bit small

Beautiful little gem very well located near train station, pubs, and local amenities. Beautiful house; nice personal touches an a brekki to die for! An all for a reasonable price! Yes... it's possible. David the owner is a lovely welcoming chap too!
