Fantastic place for CHILDREN - however the catering team do not seem to have a clue about catering for CHILDREN : two THICK slices of bread, daubed with margarine and one cheese slice, with crisps. Not inviting for anyone or imaginative and expensive. I am sure this could be improved on with a little thought.
Great place to bring kids, with zip wires and an aerial rope course, looks fun but quite expensive. There's some fabulous views across the lake, there's a cafe & a shop & some nice gardens with some easy walks too.
Fantastic play area and by the lake so can go play in the water. More to do in the summer months. But good kids park and play area open all year round which is all free as well as tree top ropes and big nets courses that are available at a charge. Booking advised though as can get busy especially in school holidays.
We called here almost two weeks ago on our way back to Yorkshire. Very sad we could not spend longer. What a fantastic Halloween experience, so much imagination, thought, effort and hard work had been put into the attractions. We will be back when more time. Sue Asher
Splendid place with Tree top trek high wire courses and tree top nets to bounce and slide in and a zip wire too. In the school holiday when we visited ,the car park can get full but they will find space if you have pre-booked on one of the tree top attractions. They have a leaflet of alternative car parks and buses or boats to get you back to Brock hole. We stayed all day with two granddaughters of primary school age and we all enjoyed it very much.
