Our stay was fantastic and peaceful indeed. Lodge 31 was amazing. It was very clean, warm, welcoming and cosy. Oh yeah, the Christmas tree was all set too for us. All that was required of us is turn on the Christmas tree lights! Amazing indeed. High five to (owner) Natalie for making it all possible for my sister Hope and I. We both enjoyed our stay. The countryside is lovely. We went for long (make sure you carry a torch especially in winter, and trekking shoes) walks in the hills. We walked for a good five hours! Very delightful place to stay and, I strongly recommend. However, its a must to have a car though. The shops (Windermere) are rather far away! The locals are very friendly too. Please go check it out.... I will be calling Natalie at some point again! ENJOY YOUR STAY. ...
